How It Works
Applications for the 2026-2027 Bright Minds Scholarship are now open!
Five students will receive scholarships of $1,000 each.*
HCC Foundation will notify selected candidates.
Receive funds towards your 2026-2027 tuition fees and earn a spotlight feature on Amigo Energy’s website and social media!
Eligibility Requirements
Be a current or future student at Houston City College.
Call Greater Houston your home sweet home.
You must meet the minimum requirements set by the HCC Foundation.

- How do I know the HCC Foundation received my application?
Once you successfully submit your application, you will automatically receive a confirmation email from HCC Foundation.

*The scholarship will be awarded to five students by the HCC Foundation. One scholarship per student will be granted of $500 per semester, totaling $1,000 for the 2026-2027 academic year. Amigo Energy does not make selections, and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee an award. By applying for the Amigo Energy Bright Minds Scholarship, you grant authorization to use your name and photos on our website and social media platforms.
