How does "Free Electricity" work?
It’s simple. We track the energy you use between 5 PM and 9 PM CST on Sunday, February 8, 2026. We then calculate that usage and apply it as a credit directly to your Amigo Energy bill. You’ll see it as a line item on your bill.
Who is eligible for this promotion?
This offer is exclusively for current Amigo Energy residential customers in Texas who are in good standing. You just need to provide your account details via our sign-up form before the deadline.
Is there a limit to how much electricity I can use?
We want you to enjoy the game! The credit covers your standard residential energy usage during those four hours. Just keep being the "Amigable" neighbor you already are.
When will I see the credit on my bill?
Depending on your billing cycle, the credit will typically appear on your next one or two billing statements following the event.
Do I have to be a new customer to get this deal?
Nope! Unlike some providers who only give the best perks to new sign-ups, this specific event is a "thank you" to our existing Amigo Energy family.
This promotion is valid only for the first 50 active Amigo Energy residential customers in good standing that participated by submitting their account information on the promotional form before February 8, 2025, 9 PM CST. The free‑hours window for this promotion applies only on February 8, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM CST. Bill credits will be applied automatically to the customer’s account within one to two billing cycles. Customers enrolled in a Flat Bill plan or Weekends Free plan do not receive additional bill credits as part of this promotion. For customers on Nights Free, only the portion of electricity used during the promotional hours that fall outside their existing free‑hours structure may qualify. Promotion applies only for up to 15 kWh used during the specified time frame. Terms, conditions, and eligibility requirements apply.
